My Background………

I have recently retired following 34 years of service as a Bereavement Officer for a high street Bank. During this time, I have managed teams, trained numerous colleagues to become Bereavement Officers as well as personally handling individual cases involving;

• acting as personal contact for Next of Kin

• liaising with solicitors, funeral directors, Probate Office, HMRC and other departments on behalf of the estate

• ensuring estates settled to correct beneficiaries in accordance with all legal documents

• making applications for Probate and Lasting Power of Attorneys

Dealing with all the above on a daily basis, I know and understand the importance of personal customer service and empathy when dealing with sensitive and delicate matters.
